If you or your loved one has been convicted of a driving under the influence (DUI) offense in New Jersey, then you will probably be required to attend the IDRC as part of your sentence.
You will meet with a certified counselor here at Harbor MAT for a personal interview to evaluate your substance use history and determine the most appropriate course of action after a DUI conviction.
Based on the assessment, you may be referred for additional treatment if substance use disorders are identified. Counselors provide tailored recommendations, ranging from outpatient counseling to intensive inpatient programs. The referral process ensures quality care from licensed providers, and the IDRC works with approved treatment facilities to facilitate a smooth transition for participants to receive support.
